How it works

Sit with your child. For each word, tap the speaker button to play the sounds.

Your child listens and tries to blend the sounds into a word. Don't help them - just listen.

Type in exactly what your child said - even if it's wrong or doesn't make sense.

At the end, you'll get a score and a tailored comment from Joanna.

There are 10 words to start with. After that, you can choose to continue with 10 harder words - or stop and see your results straight away.

It's completely normal for children to find these more difficult - especially if they're still early in Reception.
