My Phonics Coach is operated by Joanna [surname] trading as My Phonics Coach. We provide phonics resources, courses and support for parents of young children.

We only collect information that you choose to give us. This may include:

• Your first name and email address when you sign up for our free guide, weekly tips, or course waitlist

We do not collect payment information directly - payments are processed securely through Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.

• Send you the free guide or resource you requested
• Send you our weekly phonics tips and activities (if you have opted in)
• Contact you about the Blending Breakthrough Course if you have registered your interest
• Respond to your enquiries or arrange a discovery call
• Improve our website and the resources we offer

We will never use your information for any purpose other than those listed above without asking for your permission first.

Our legal basis for processing your data

Under UK GDPR, we need a lawful basis to process your personal data. We rely on the following:

• Consent - when you sign up for our email list, free guide or course waitlist, you are giving us your consent to contact you. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Email marketing

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage our email list and send newsletters. When you sign up, your name and email address are stored securely on Brevo's servers. Brevo is GDPR compliant and you can read their privacy policy at brevo.com.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time - it takes one click and we will never email you again after that.

We do not share your email address with any third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only for as long as necessary:

• Email subscribers - we keep your data for as long as you remain subscribed. Once you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our active list within 30 days.
• Enquiries and discovery call requests - we keep correspondence for up to 12 months.
• Course customers - we keep records as required for legal and tax purposes (typically 6 years).

Sharing your data

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data to anyone. We only share your data with the following trusted third-party services that help us run My Phonics Coach:

• Brevo - email marketing and list management
• Stripe - secure payment processing (for course purchases)
• WordPress / your hosting provider - website hosting

All third-party services we use are GDPR compliant and process data only as instructed by us.
